England to go ahead with Jofra Archer for T20 World Cup 2024

May 1 is the last day to submit the 15-member squad for all teams participating in the T20 World Cup 2024 starting on June 2 in USA & West Indies. On Monday, April 29, New Zealand became the first team to announce their squad for the prestigious white-ball events, while other teams made it to the news for several rumours.


Talking about the defending champions, England, they have received a major boost as their star seamer Jofra Archer is all set to return to international cricket after sitting out for almost a year because of resurging elbow injury. There are reports that the ECB are planning to include Archer in the squad for the World Cup.


Notably, the Three Lions beat Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2022 without Archer. England will have a formidable pace attack with Archer, Reece Topley, and Mark Wood, as the reports state that Chris Woakes is likely to be snubbed
